Yes this is strange and stranger that most people here seem to think theirs makes sense because to me it doesn’t.

It’s like a bizarro world on Bluesky where if you based her popularity on the comments section you’d think she’d be a loser and yet she’s got Assad numbers in real life.

I don’t get it. Why now? Doesn’t this make the Somali “scandal” look like it had some truth to it? Didn’t Walz realize this would be tough to begin with?

There were many reasons but the left thinking that they had the luxury of assigning total blame to Biden and Harris for Gaza contributed to the lack of enthusiasm from young folks and others who failed to even vote.

I tried myself. The public does not like the look of instability. And it gave a pass to people to vote MAGA. If Biden were Trump the GOP would have stood by him. That appears like strength to the public.

Michigan politicians like Haley Stevens and Debbie Dingle wanted Biden to stay on. They know the state well.

There are many reasons she lost but since she was not the incumbent (closest person to it) she don’t have the luxury of going to safe areas to campaign and gin up enthusiasm.
December 30, 2025 at 7:06 AM
The problem I had was that everyone thought throwing away incumbency was a slam dunk. I don’t think Biden would have lost Michigan at least.

Biden’s poll numbers were actually in decent shape after the debate until Clooney and Pelosi intervened to create the media storm that tanked numbers. But Biden couldn’t turn things around by showing he was okay fast enough. It was on Biden to right the ship and he needed too much time to rest.

It misses the point. Ds have been realists on health care & spent political capital actually trying pass meaningful reforms against the oppo from industry & the GOP. The left bashes Ds as if they had the power to pass SP or M4A b/c Bernie said some imaginary revolution was coming to make it happen

If this is what he spends his time on then good.

Good job Dr Jill Stein and Leila Hazou. Can’t wait till they come trotting out next time to tell us both parties are the same.
December 22, 2025 at 9:14 PM
You’re right. He threw away all the red meat talk in the debate but Tim Walz allowed him to get away with it by agreeing with him almost till the end. A savvy nominee will define him before the convention.

I’d like a big margin. Don’t care who but I’m not excited about this.

Dems are good at politics when voters back them up and vote for them.
December 17, 2025 at 9:33 PM
He saw what happened to Casey and doesn’t want it to happen to him. Voting for Leila Hazou instead of Casey of all people has been an epic fail.

Odd they are going to emergency rooms and hospitals instead of calling into the Joe Rogan Experience for a consultation or at least doing their own research first…
December 7, 2025 at 12:21 AM
Somehow this is 4D chess. If they are naturalized in the future under a Dem admin they will vocally vote MAGA for some trivial matter saying Dems don’t listen to their needs.

I suspect he was intentionally unexpectedly early because they anticipate these threats.

Why is Europe even sitting at that table?
December 4, 2025 at 1:37 AM
If Dems voted with this kind of intensity we’d win in so many surprising areas.

Is there any indication that this won’t flop like all his other flops? My concern stems from Zelensky’s posturing but he has really no other choice than to seem willing to work towards peace. Hoping for Europe to alone stand up is not encouraging.
