Yeah it was no contest really. The addictive poker roguelike consumed me and many of my friends this year. Mechanically it's brilliant but I think more than many other gamed it's the "juice" - the sound effects, graphics, etc. - that make it so sticky of a game.

This game needs to be expanded upon and released as its own title. Way more complex than it appears. An ingenious deckbuilder roguelike with no combat to be seen, just the nailbiting tension of letting one more guy in and hoping everything works out.

Possibly the best breakup album made this century. Don't mistake its simplicity for mediocrity. Each song here has a purpose in chronicling the story of overcoming the end of a relationship and losing the opportunity at a new beginning.

I slept on this release. Loved all of the freestyles, singles, and music videos she released this year... and had no idea those were the foundation of this incredibly varied showcase. This is her Section 80. Can't wait for her GKMC.
