I have constant arguement in my head about why I sometimes do that.

Sometimes as a viewer, or even as someone who wants to write stories, you can feel where perhaps there was a change of plans when watching the final product. Sort of how Doctor Who fans had fights about what the actual Season 2 finale was supposed to be.

I always felt there was gay subtext with the second film.

The second film felt like a bit of an oddity - it had Freddy, but didn't feel like it was an Elm Street film. I feel as if a different film was being made and Freddy got thrown in there. Not exactly saying that's bad....

It is. It will happen eventually. I am happy I took the Magnesium - calmed me down a bit.
