Kerr County officials evidently had many years to install sirens, but chose not to do so. They thought it would not benefit residents, only the tourists. Wow.

The UNK language developed by Zack back in the day was an incredible bit of engineering….it was interpreted, linkable, had a visual debugger, and implemented something very like asynch/await that took other languages more than 20 years to create. We honestly didn’t recognize how incredible that was.
