Very worried about what is happening in LA. Hoping that there won’t be escalation. Good to see a voice of reason, not another attempt to stir up trouble, echoing historical efforts to create opportunity for oppression. We do know the history and we see what is happening. So sorry. It is very hard,will be hard for a long time. Still missing my girl every day after 2.5 years. She was almost 16. I have her ashes, and pix in every room. Always grateful that she was in my life, she brought love, joy and fun. I take comfort in hoping I gave her a good life.

Here is an example of her work with the residents, a mural in the facility. Shows that it is rooted in the community. Leaves are by the residents. Some painted, some lino printed, some just leaves or leaf skeletons pressed onto paint and then onto the image. Contributed according to ability.
