Desmond falls back into his old fuck-boy ways and Nadia continues to do her "Paladin of the Dark Maiden" thing. Some years later, the two are brought back together having both learned more about themselves and grown as people and realize they just want to be with each other.

Desmond and party were captured by her house while in the Underdark. Long story short, she decided to help them escape and go with them. Adventuring happens, Nadia embraces life on the surface, and the two hit it off. After years, the two hit kind of an impasse and split ways.

Well... kind of? More like enemies to lovers, to "enemies", to lovers lol

11- He found nobility too be stuffy a lifestyle, so he ran away to experience everything the world has to offer!

Desmond was my first D&D character. When I ran my first campaign, he was like the main quest giver and Nadia was an ally/ enemy. I thought it would be fun if there was a romantic/ complicated history between them which is why Desmond keeps her wanted poster hidden under other job listings.
