This finished at 1.009 and 7.5% abv - packs a slight punch! But I think it could take more dry hops. Only did 5g for a 4l batch, and in biotransformation only.

First bottle opened! Bitter, but not melt-your-face bitter! Lovely west coast aroma - a little bit green mind you but IPAs are better fresh. Voss does an absolutely great job in this dry hoppy beers.

A cask aged IPA! Interesting, wouldn't the oxygen ingress affect the hoppy goodness? Completely unexperienced brewer here btw!

Oh and the pitch rate was absolute crap, just washed salvaged yeast from a previous pale ale - and I didn't manage to get much! But that's enough for kveik to go ballistic.

Kveik is just somethimg out of this world. It's been barely what - 7-8 hours since pitch? And it's going wild already. Love to see it. And the jack daniel's t-shirt over the fermentor is because it's a pretty well lit room and we don't like skunked IPAs!

Turns out that losing your brew bag is key for an absolute hell of a brewday. Took a hit to the efficiency, but let's hope for the best!

That looks stunning and delicious Andreas! Thanks! Will try to get my hands on that.

Hey there Andreas. Following back on this, any verdicts on the clearing of that super F?

Hey there Andreas! Super curious about this - my partner is allergic to isinglass and I'm to kieselsol (bad team for beer fining!) but more than that I want a vegan alternative. How did that work out? Btw, recipe sounds lovely!!
