My new journey in Kalos region, since Pokémon X, has begun!
I'm loving this game so far. It's very unique for a Pokémon game. The mega evolution are back. Familiar faces and places to meet in Lumiose. Also, love my Totodile! ^^
Pokémon Legends: Z-A is now available! Only on Nintendo Switch 1 and 2!

Hello #PortfolioDay :)
I'm Marcos K. Pinheiro, aka Marcos Wyvern artistically.
It's been awhile that I have produced artworks. So here's some of my past ones and new ones.
Now I plan to make more again.

October 4, 2025.
On this day, marks the 120th year since the iconic and mighty Tyrannosaurus rex was described and named in a scientific paper.
Luckily, I made this artwork of the well-known skull of AMNH 5027 specimen, and here it is to celebrate this day. ^^

R.I.P. Mark Norell.
This is very sad news. He was a very good dinosaur hunter and paleontologist. I've seen him in dinosaur books and documentaries. And here's "AMNH Tyrannosaurus" book that I loved as a little kid to remember. It was written by William Lindsay with Mark Norell as consultant.

I expect that these 7 questions are tough to be answered for the time being. Still, I'm looking forward to this book after November (@davehone.bsky.social @markwitton.bsky.social), and to the new Spinosaurus papers still to come (@stellaludwig.bsky.social @ejrpaleo.bsky.social). :)

f) The Early Cretaceous Iberian Peninsula is the only place of possible coexistence between baryonychines and spinosaurines?
g) In certain species, could the dorsal sail be sexually dimorphic (like in crested chameleons - Trioceros cristatus) or likely not?
(Part 5/6)

e) A few jawbones of spinosaurids were discovered and studied, including those from the Kem Kem Group, but has any team or anyone found any bite marks or signs of intraspecific competition? Or they likely avoided physical contact and used mostly intimidating displays?
(Part 4/6)

c) How do we know the depth of the river of giants? Is it based on the sizes of the freshwater fishes, plesiosaurs, crocodyliforms and Spinosaurus alone?
d) Spinosaurus teeth were strong enough to bite through ctenoid elasmoid scales of adult Mawsonia, or it likely hunted the juveniles?
(Part 3/6)

a) Is it possible that some spinosaurids were nocturnal predators (which the sail-backed spinosaurines would hide their huge sizes from fishes or any juvenile prey in the water at night)? Or is this a bit of a stretch?
b) And do we know how fast spinosaurids grew or not quite yet?
(Part 2/6)

I made these drawings or studies in 2021 about Spinosaurus. After a few years, the debate about its lifestyle still goes on, even with the presentation of #WWD2025 and Jurassic World Rebirth. Now I have 7 curious questions in this thread, wondering if we have answers to some of them.

The 3D skull model by @lordtrilobite.bsky.social has helped me a lot. And so many artists' works have guided me to reconstruct this Irritator head, including @heitoresco.bsky.social, @kakapojay.bsky.social, @markwitton.bsky.social, @serpenillus.bsky.social and @bobnichollsart.bsky.social.

Behold, my new artwork of Irritator for #IrritatorBelongsToBR. I really liked this result and enjoyed making it while following many artists' works, paleo sources and inspirations.

Last week, I finished this drawing as a present to a friend of mine who loves dinosaurs. He also supports #IrritatorBelongsToBR. I'm glad to see that he liked it. ^^
