You’re right but he fits everything the Yankees need (CF, great defender, RH bat) and that contract is amazing. I wouldn’t give up the farm for him but if it’s a reasonable asking price, I’m doing it.

The bullpen is strengthened (can substitute one of those trade targets for a big name reliever as well), you add RH bats in Okamoto (who can platoon with Rice/McMahon) and Jeffers/Bart (platoon with Wells), add a versatile stud in Donovan and have one of the best starting staffs in baseball
