I love animals, the planet, and the sky. And people--I love all people, but lately it is hard to love those that are mean to others. IRL I drag old ladies out of bed and count to 10 a lot. I read and dabble in simple crafts. She/her.
I saw someone else’s post after I saw your trophies. ❤️
But I’m still waiting to open Monaco. 🤔

Thank you! Found it!

Now for Monaco…

You got Ukraine?!

Yes—got logged out and “internal server error” when I try to log back in.

Actually, thankfully, Polis hasn’t changed his position. See what local Denver reporter Kyle Clark @kylec.bsky.social said about this.

Forgive my boldness, but faith is definitely bigger than religion. Religion is how a group of people of similar faith do their thing. Imagine your local middle school band playing Beethoven’s 5th. That is religion: a dim reflection of the true thing. Faith is seeking that Truth.

Yes, faith is belief without evidence, but more than that, CAN’T be proved. True faith shouldn’t be diminished when knowledge expands.
For me, the Biblical creation story isn’t about 7 24 hr days (or not) but the more existential purpose of humans on Earth and our relationship to creation.

I like where you are going with this. Tell me more what you mean by truth: do you mean that which is empirical/scientific/provable? Or something more existential?

I strongly agree that rejecting truth (either definition) is not faith.

2/2 and that whether God hung the moon or it is a big rock, I am still created with a purpose: to act like the moon and reflect God’s love to everyone on Earth. To seek justice. To make this world just a tiny bit better. And to use the gifts I have—including my intellect—for good.

1/2 There is something called “God of the Gap”. Using God to explain what we don’t get. God hung the moon. But then when science fills in the gap, that the moon is just a big rock, then God is diminished. Rather, we study the moon trusting that when we learn it is a rock it is still amazing.

I can talk for 10 minutes about hemoglobin. Amazing stuff. So what? It delivers oxygen to tissue. So what? Makes life possible. So what? Maybe there is a purpose …
Science tells you the why it works. Faith is for the existential why.
But give me an example of what you mean.
January 9, 2026 at 3:26 AM
Oh, one more thing. If religion/faith isn’t rooted in love, it is being done wrong.
January 9, 2026 at 3:18 AM
One more thought: if you are searching for God … you have already found God.

I am distrustful of simple answers: life is way to complex and nuanced. But I can’t believe the God who made us curious and gave us the mental capacity to think doesn’t want us to use it. Historically, there hasn’t been that much conflict between faith and science. This is new in the last century.

Sunday school teacher here. Science is the WHAT. Faith is the WHY. I consider myself a scientist. I am in awe of the creator of hemoglobin. I love the science of hemoglobin. Science can’t/shouldn’t/won’t answer why it matters. That is where faith comes in.

You did some awesome research and have way more knowledge than I, but isn’t the first one the OOO for not being a biplane?

There are two different kinds of home health and home health aids: the kind Medicare and other insurance covers after surgery and then the long term care that Medicaid covers to keep you out of a nursing home when you are disabled. Miller’s wife is talking about the latter.

I agree. Not worth spending that much on a daily. I wish they had more achievements. Like a 2nd level of the trophies.

Holy Schmoly. I pretty much freaked out when my son did a 60 degree bank turn in a piper. But essentially vertical in a 777?!?

Look for Vincent Ledvina on Bluesky and facebook. He is an expert in Fairbanks and also guides trips.
