My reading turned lighter or cozy during the pandemic. While I do read the occasional “serious” book, I keep floating back to my popcorn books. The world is dark enough. I need light.

Time to tell my kid that Pirate Booty is off the shopping list. Luckily, she’s 18 and can handle the loss. She proudly cast her first vote for Kamala.

And the 5 year anniversary of my starter is next month. Coincidence? I think not. 😉

Vote no. We’re willing to struggle to block them from doing worse.

Clarifying because when I read it again, it sounds like I’m saying Wicked is better than Confessions. Confessions is the better book.

I read it and loved it when it came out. I read Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister first. It’s the better book IMO. Son of a Witch was not as good.

In his case, separate bedrooms would be good. Separate houses even better.

I bought my microwave in 1997. We got my mother-in-law’s fancy microwave when she passed, so I took mine to my high school culinary classroom where it was used daily. The new microwave lasted a year. Brought my old one back home. It’s still going strong.

Big fan of the original and the remake. I watch both every year.

I did that one year when I was single, but hosted Thanksgiving for family who had to travel to me. They couldn’t take leftovers. I made plates on paper plates with everything. I even put a little dab of gravy on the potatoes. I triple wrapped & froze. Best frozen dinners for months.
