I thought Starmer and Reeves would make two years before the regicide, but I hadn’t accounted for what useless politicians they’ve turned out to be.
November 14, 2025 at 8:53 AM
It has run ages ago, there is simply a tension within the party between waiting for the May elections before ousting Starmer, and getting Streeting’s challenge in before Burnham can secure a by-election.

Literally any politician is going to be better than the civil servant.

Unfortunately, what is going on with Corbyn and Sultana is exactly what the left looks like with its act together. Too many bloody egos and individualists for a left wing movement.

It was worth it. So much sweeter to win in Paris with 14 players.

This contain is two weeks dead, buddy.

The interesting part about your reference to GE24 polling is that it supports my view. Labour were taking the whole anti-Tory vote in the run up to the election. Soon as it was clear that the Tories were finished, that vote dispersed. The reverse will likely happen if Reform is perceived as a threat
November 10, 2025 at 1:42 PM
Also, let’s not forget that Corbyn’s Labour was leading the polls in July of 2019, then got smashed in December. We’re still four years out. Let’s not get carried away with polling. The disappointment is painful when it comes.

Do you even understand how FPTP works? Unless they’re winning an outright majority, and they’re not, the Greens are a very minor party in a coalition Govt, even with 70 seats. And even if Labour is reduced to 150 seats, they’re still the party forming the Govt. 🤷‍♂️

Gosh, you’re so witty. Your mummy must be exceedingly proud.
November 10, 2025 at 1:21 PM
Besides, I’ve only sent Matt’s language back at him. If that is condescension, I’m not even the main antagonist.
November 10, 2025 at 9:22 AM
Only with people whose reading and comprehension is deserving of condescension.

Human have the capacity to want lots of things. It’s what capitalism is built on. For me, personally, I don’t care what you want. My analysis is based on trends, not individual idiosyncrasies.
November 10, 2025 at 8:33 AM
I’m not Labour, sorry, my dear Terminal-Antagonist-Brain. I don’t care how you vote, all I have said is that FPTP forces voters to vote against the party they fear the most, and most people fear Reform more than Labour. 🤷‍♂️
November 10, 2025 at 8:25 AM
Great. That’s settled then.
November 9, 2025 at 8:01 PM
No, not really. You’re just so desperate for an antagonist that you’re hoping I’m the one. I’ve not shared any of my own values here. I have simply made a comment on what the mass of voters think and will likely do. 9999 out of 1000 voters wouldn’t agree with you that Labour are extremists.
November 9, 2025 at 7:44 PM
Yes, you’ve already told me that’s what you think. It’s been noted and I won’t forget, so you don’t need to tell me again.
November 9, 2025 at 7:36 PM
I’m not telling you who to vote for either. I genuinely don’t care what 1 in 48 million voters does. I’m simply sharing an opinion on how I believe voters will act at the macro level.
November 9, 2025 at 7:34 PM
The majority will most likely act in the same way they always act, which will be to act to keep the extremists out. The closest we’ve come to an extremists in power was Johnson, and that’s only because Corbyn was perceived to be a bigger extremist. The system elected him shortly after.
November 9, 2025 at 7:32 PM
I can’t prove that voters are going to do anything, I’m giving you my opinion. And I think that voters voted for Brexit, Trump, Reform, etc., because they want to burn the status quo down, not because anyone ever believed that the NHS would get more money 2/2

Really love how everyone assumes I’m Labour. You all can only read what you want to read.

I read that post the first time. No need to repost it.
November 9, 2025 at 7:25 PM
No, that’s your interpretation. I simply said that voters will vote for the party most likely to beat the party they fear in the constituency they live in, because that is how FPTP was designed.
November 9, 2025 at 7:24 PM
Let me repeat myself:

I’m sorry, at what point did I say that I stand in defence of Labour, or that I even support them? Like most other voters, I vote against the party I fear for the party most likely to beat the party I fear. That is my only connection to the Labour Party.
