The presentation of the site comes with such an outstanding clarity that it underpins beautifully a key message we want to pursue: the world is naturally complex, but there are approaches and tools to bring clarity to this and move from complexity to possibility! www.tepunahamatatini.ac.nz 4/4

Over the past year we have done extensive work on re-articulating what we at @tepunahamatatini.bsky.social do, how we do it, and why we do it. The first publicly visible artifact is our new online presence: www.tepunahamatatini.ac.nz 1/n

The Wellington crowd of the Café Complexité catching up again. Today for an impulse talk by Michael Howden (Complexity Fellow at the Chair in Complexity Science). He's talking about the complex evolution of the water system, giving us a crucial industry perspective and grounding.

Getting around quite a bit in Europe this & next week. From the Complexity Science Hub in Vienna to the Basque Centre for Climate in Bilbao, to the ISI Foundation in Turin (next week, see below). What are we doing? We're talking about the @tepunahamatatini.bsky.social approach to complex systems.

All go for another Café Complexité here at Victoria University of Wellington. Today Micheal Miller is introducing non linear dynamics in such a gentle way. His previous experience as a math and physics teacher showing. Exceptionally fun session.

When social media is critical part of the public sphere, governments should be stewards of good engineering and ethical practice, in the interest of democracy and the common good. Glad I got the chance to contribute a little bit to the article linked in this post: www.linkedin.com/posts/forum-...

Amazing to have Ronald Fischer around in person for the first time in a few years. Inspiring talk this morning, touching on some of our previous work in the realm of computational text analysis to understand psychological constructs across space & time. Great discussion followed.

Absolutely stoked to let people know that Torven Schalk successfully defended his PhD thesis today. Examiners requested no changes except for a final grammar and spelling check. Privilege to have co-supervised him alongside primary supervisor Ronald Fischer.
