Absolutely ridiculous. Need to spend more money to watch my team on television than the cost of my season tickets to see them live. I’m a huge fan but am simply not going to pay for multiple services.

And as a result, I predict Team USA will be winning the next few World Championships and the next Olympics. Team Canada simply does not have the same talented youth group to replace the aging stars.

I’m really hoping Mel Davidson is right about these two Russian players. Because if she isn’t, Ottawa is going to suffer next season. Could have used that second pick to shore up our defence.

Chris, why are all the free agents leaving Ottawa and why is the Charge not able to sign other free agents? This makes it seem like Ottawa is not a good place to play, which makes no sense to me. But obviously something is going on that the fans are not privy to. Do you know?

Good thing I wasn’t able to get tickets to the draft despite trying multiple times. Don’t think I could have masked the absolute rage I’m feeling right now about the absolute shitshow this expansion process has turned out to be.

If the reports are true about who signed where, I feel like Mike H. was being a little too hopeful when he said that his discussions revealed that Ottawa was viewed as a great destination. In fact, it’s the total opposite apparently.
