Not exactly. Immigration per se isn’t in the constitution (congress has explicit control over naturalization, but not immigration). So it’s a bit of a legal black hole. The executive says that its authority over foreign affairs gives it power over immigration, and the courts have deferred to this.

There are *very* few legal checks on presidential control over immigration.

Crazy, right? But *very* many women friends of mine report men intimidated by their MD or PhD. There’s a cultural change that eventually needs to happen, but clearly hasn’t yet.

And the best news is the data are publicly available, so we can look at things from a more ecological constraint-oriented perspective (rather than a coding-based approach)

As a damn good singer and instrumentalist, it was exposure to talent like that that made me think, you know what? I’m happy to enjoy my place in a world of music I don’t need to contribute to.
