Dracula A.D. 1972 (1972) Dir. Alan Gibson – A groovy Hammer horror dripping with70’s style. Bringing Dracula into swinging London shouldn’t work- at all—or as well-but it does. Cushing and Lee anchor the madness, and the wild set décor is worth the price of admission. Campy, colorful and fun.🎞️📽️

FRANKENSTEIN is on NETFLIX but- still in many theatres- please consult your local listings and choose your watch/rewatch preference!
Where do I even begin? Guillermo del Toro @realgdt.bsky.social has created an absolute masterpiece. I only wish I’d had the chance to experience it on the big screen. The story of Frankenstein has been told countless times, but never like this.

Dug this. @realgdt.bsky.social doing Frankenstein makes too much sense, and Jacob Elordi was, dare I say, a revelation. A gruesome, gothic winner.

Being a fan of Hammer Films, Christopher Lee and Dracula, I decided to make myself a little something inspired by Dracula A.D. 1972, my favorite film starring Lee as the immortal count. Not quite movie accurate, but close enough.

“I think we should maybe start thinking about battleships by the way” he said at one point in the middle of a riff about tariffs. “I used to watch Victory at Sea. I love Victory at Sea.”

If six months ago you told me I’d love a Fantastic Four movie (or any Marvel film for that matter) so much that I’d see it twice in four days and be thinking about when I could see it again, I’d say you were delusional. And yet, here we are.

An annotated list of things Raymond Chandler hated recently sold for $2000 at auction.
What do hard-boiled eggs, actors, aspirin, and railroad travel all have in common? They all incurred the ire of Raymond Chandler. How do I know this? Because last Friday, Doyle Auctioneers & Ap…
