I think people are jumping the gun a bit, the reason I believe they're making a second mtx currency is because the regular Token is used for game time and is kind of an economy regulator, it sucks there'll be MTX furniture but we gotta wait and see how it's priced before we doom about it.

In fairness, I assume it's not a choice purely driven by profit; Illumination will also nod their heads and do what Nintendo say because Nintendo big leagues them.

I wouldn't be surprised if the graphics overhaul did take a huge chunk of time and resources that kinda weakened what the team can do and we're seeing them now working at full effectiveness on stuff.

I think 3 over 4 is the one I'm most curious about, I feel like 4 through 6 are kinda where the series gets its groove. Hard pressed to say where I would put 8 but I rank it quite highly personally.

Well 5's problem is more that all the weapons are woefully underpowered and cannot remotely compete with a charged shot, whereas I assume the issue is more that 10's weapons are gimmicky

i feel like people tend to reduce zelda combat down to "mash b" and its already quite reductive of 2d zelda but it feels totally off-base for 3d zelda. there's definitely an elegance to it, especially in oot where you're expected to make the right play when the enemy leaves themselves open

i've been saying this for a while now, minish cap and the oracle games feel so good. namco also probably made one of if not the best starfox, sega arguably made the best f-zero, nintendo really should do this more often

It's probably a cold take but I do still think WW Ganondorf is the most appealing to me, with HW Ganondorf as a close second. I know ToTK probably does everything I like about HW but I dunno, couldn't get into ToTK as much so it didnt land for me.
