In short: don’t let the absence of the words “Insurrection Act” fool you. Trump has authorized the deployment of troops anywhere in the country where protests against ICE activity might occur. That is a huge red flag for democracy in the United States. 19/19

Their characterization of young people’s views is oversimplified and ignores other legitimate reasons young people aren’t interested in serving in the military. We would be better served by leaders who are willing to look at the data: concerns about mental health, military lifestyle, low pay, etc

I have seen people say that many of the firefighters who come from prison are proud of and love the work they do. But shouldn't they get paid more fairly? That's my main issue here.
