From a hoarding situation, to foster care, to hiding for weeks, this handsome dude is making more and more progress everyday

Someone was able to see Santa this weekend and tell him how he’d been cute all year. Good? Not so much.

Three weeks ago, we welcomed this guy to the family. We were warned he was very timid, perhaps the understatement of the year. He’s been in hiding since coming home, only coming out in the past few days. This morning, he let me touch him. Only briefly, and he took off, again. But it’s progress!

Not my best; bought the cheap butter. But bbq shrimp, some jazz and good company on the back porch makes for a good Friday night.
