There is a bug in this 3rd party API that declares a payload to fail their validation checks in a false positive way BUT ALSO fails to report what the alleged validation errors are.

And of course, there are none, so I've now spent days in a logical lockpicking manner, brute force trial and […]

Cold front arrives late tonight and the wind was certainly keen to hasten its arrival. Spitting rain at times, but happily any serious downpour never arrived.

Ran a quiet, pensive 7.5 km on the HS track. Heart ❤️ and lungs 🫁 felt great, but legs 🦵 were less […]

Phone is showing SOS only as part of the Verizon Wireless outage.

Can't sign into my account because their 2FA requires a text verification and they've no alternatives.

Text 2FA has always been dumb.

Had to expand C:\ on a VM and I'm irritated that Windows, after decades, STILL doesn't have the built-in tooling in disk management to work around their recovery partition. You can't extend a partition if the space isn't contiguous, so you have to move the recovery partition.

Why it exists at […]

A couple of minor concerns, probably all resolved with regular minutes:

Mamardashvili looked a little unsteady in a few moments. Was fortunate the ball carried over, rather than looking he knew, spatially, that he had it all covered.

Chiesa struggled. We've seen what he can do, but today was […]

Not the greatest performance, but one moment does not undo all the good things. Frimpong continues to impress with each outing, Mac Allister, Jones, Ekitike, and Wirtz were all also excellent.

Ekitike is my MOTM. The chemistry between him and Wirtz is fantastic, and not just because of the […]

Wirtz returns the favor to Ekitike. Class from both.

Lovely touch from Ekitike to free Florian. Should have a brace, but we'll take it.

My partisan eyes, watching live, thought that it was a dive, based on the way Cleary's legs suddenly stopped working. Replay shows Dom gets ball. Was there enough of a push? Live and on replay, I don't think so.

Not sure what VAR would have done because 🙃

With the strength of the lineup, the mission was to bulldoze early and then feature youth early in the second half.

Szoboszlai's showboating gaffe, not only undermines all of that, but compounds it by piling extra minutes on the starters' legs.

It also allows Barnsley to stay in their low […]

Dumbest goal we've conceded this year? ✅

Unnecessarily fancy and perhaps a bit of showboating.

Absolute rip by Frimpong on his weaker foot (but don't tell him that!)

If Gakpo could develop a left-footed shot, it would change everything.

Szoboszlai said jokingly after Arsenal that he needed more shooting practice. There you have it.

Didn't even celebrate.

If that doesn't start the game with a jolt of adrenaline, I don't know what will. Wake up, defense!

Took a couple of rest days b/c I could feel my hamstring & feared possible injury. After a consideration of time spent in each HR zone over previous runs, it was clear that I was overdoing the pace, even with 4/1 min run/walk intervals. I ~could~ do that pace […]

The case for John Brooks awarding this soft penalty for Everton is so much thinner than the one HE overlooked on VAR for Wirtz at Arsenal. If this is a penalty, then that absolutely was.

I think he’s still sore about Klopp defiantly celebrating a late goal in his face as the fourth official […]

And lastly the mess at the end. Anthony Taylor really flubbed it. Konate ends up with the same disciplinary result as Martinelli?!? Jesus comes and retaliates on Konate, knocking Taylor's yellow card out of his hands and he gets... nothing?

Martinelli, the man who played dead within two minutes […]

It wouldn't be a proper #LFC match without me once yelling at my TV to "call the penalty, you cowards!" Graeme Le Saux suggesting "Wirtz's leg actually came into Trossard" had me apoplectic.

Trossard already being on a yellow does not excuse a body check with no touch on the ball.

Ah, but the […]

Szoboszlai is back to MOTM performances. I thought he was absolutely terrific. With Gravenberch as his backstop and Wirtz and Bradley floating around in triangular support, he was able to keep #LFC in possession and deny Arsenal a lot of possession.

Frimpong is so ridiculously fast and can […]

Given the defensive and set piece struggles LFC have had and going up a team that excels at set pieces and pressuring defenses... I'm delighted with the result.

Arsenal, like Newcastle in MW1, completely lost their heads and almost gave the game away. I actually believe that Slot, a man who's […]
