AI is supercharging engineers - we’re building faster, learning quicker, and doing more with less.

But while we race ahead, most people I know aren’t using AI at all. If we don’t bridge this gap, are we leaving them behind?

Do we have a moral duty to make AI accessible?

Today I used ChatGPT's audio & visual capabilities to brainstorm a content creation strategy on my whiteboard. I put my phone next to me, camera pointed at the board, and started talking. The conversation felt incredibly natural produced a strategy that suits my business perfectly.

Wow. If you consider yourself an indie hacker or #buildinpublic, read this. To me, it feels like an incredibly accurate summary of all books I read and talks I watched around this topic over the past 12 months on how to become a solo entrepreneur.
I recently gave the closing keynote at PyCon South Africa.

In it, I covered everything I've learned going from a developer to a solopreneur, with two goals:

1. Convince people it's a viable career path.
2. Help them do it.
