I am 5/8 of the way done with my first edit pass of my fantasy novel! I know it’s a weird number to celebrate but every 50 pages feels like a big deal!

Well I’ve begun To Be Hero X waaaayyy too close to having watched KPop Demon Hunters, I don’t think I have room for them both to be my personality but here we are.

For anyone who thinks the title of KPop Demon Hunters is silly, I would like to know how you feel about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And High School Musical. Sometimes you just gotta say what it is!

A quick reminder to BACK UP YOUR COMPUTER FILES. My computer crashed and wasn't showing my SSD, which happens to be where I keep my 96,000 word fantasy novel (which I hadn't backed up in a few weeks). Thankfully a reboot worked but BACK UP YOUR FILES.

Anyone else ever wonder if leaving the garden gate open counts as inviting a vampire in? And if my apartment door is closed (and sans welcome mat) does that mean I could have garden vampires?

If I’m ever hired to design a structure I will totally pull a Gustave Eiffel (of the Eiffel Tower) and just put an apartment for myself in it.

Okay but as a fantasy novel gal who doesn’t play a lot of games why did no one tell me Balders Gate III is just living your fantasy novel dreams? My character has one blue eye, one silver eye, hair that fades from one color to another, horns, and everyone is in love with her. My 13 yo self is LIVING

I had a zoom with a new screenwriter today and I just want to say to all you new writers out there - whether you’re changing industries, trying a new medium of writing, or just showing others your work for the first time - that if you are writing, you are a writer. Period.
