Because, at any given moment, thousands of smart people are working to solve the world's problems. And unlike Musk, all these smart people are not trying to destroy the entire ecosystem that made it possible for Musk to be where he is today.

Without diminishing Musk's exceptional abilities and achievements, I would ask this: Would everything he has created not have existed without him, just a few years later?
I believe we would still have electric cars, rockets, and satellite internet, and you know why?

Who are the Ford, Gates, and Musk of the pharmaceutical industry, the semiconductor industry, the chemical industry, the aviation industry, or the entire global transportation chain that brings goods from the other side of the world to our local stores?
