Why pirate steam when you paid for those games? They should provide a way for you to play what you paid for.

People have old computers which they can run old windowa on. So as long as they have an old steam that runs, it's fine. But I don't think they make old steam versions available for download...

They should still provide it for people who want to run games they bought of steam previously. If a game supports 32 bit then so should the launcher.

Yeah it's crap and the worst is the dependency chain. Wait until you have to update npm, but then it uses a new node so you have to update that, then that causes some other dependencies to fail...

As you say supply is infinite and demand has risen so how have I gotten it backwards? The only other thing that has risen is that there is now more competition which should ALSO make prices fall, not rise.

I don't think it makes sense - more and more people are buying games, which by the definition of supply and demand, means their prices should go down.
