The Calvinball & obsession about Suffering From Inflation™️ all just kind of disappeared after January 20. No one could possibly have predicted.
It's interesting* to me that we don't hear about how voters only care about & not anymore, or how the whole "felt inflation" thing (bsky.app/profile/mcop...) disappeared into the ether after the election. It's almost as if it all really was Calvinball:

Indeed. My late grandfather, a Jewish saddlemaker in prewar Lithuania, survived a Nazi liquidation of his towns Jews because a local senior Nazi officer needed someone to fix his torn saddle so he &another Jewish saddlemaker were pulled out in last moment from group of towns Jews about to be shot.
