That would be a horrible choice next to a dark dog. Handlers' clothes are supposed to contrast with their dog's colour, and not draw focus.

I had it in the 1960s when I was 4 years old. Even though I was vaccinated and I was diagnosed with whooping cough immediately, I almost died from it. We've forgotten how serious those illnesses were. I wish health officials would prompt us about the booster vaccines we need as adults.

Windsor Park Elementary school had a wing for deaf students in the 1970s. I never thought about why there were so many deaf children then, but not since.
