Loved reading it! Is there any school of thought in the Indian MoF that sees a role for itself as helping smaller states stand up to China? Or are the economic ties just way more important ?

Yes we’re are in deep shit, however the only party with a policy proposal on this issue (FDP) can’t bring itself to jump over its debt limit and which limits its ability to address all the other problems!

I have since finished the book and while I do stand by my wish for more consideration of the CCP’s political objectives, it is an excellent read and I can only suggest it to anyone wishing to know more about China.
