To flash the onboard eMMC, just install the nRPIBOOT jumper and connect a cable to the bottom microUSB port. Run rpiboot, write an OS image, and you're off to the races!

There's no recreation or emulation happening here. Kawaii contains an official Wii motherboard, heavily trimmed down with a Dremel!
But yes, Wiis can be trimmed much smaller than GameCubes, and also use much less power.

Whipped up an eval board for the Lontium LT6711A. It takes HDMI in and outputs USB-C DP Alt Mode. This is gonna be a gamechanger for Wii portablizing!
