I order a small army of robots around to get arms and armor to those in need

Looking over some of my orders from the year.. feels like a good mix of anime and games. And a whole lot of fun 😁

Test print.. still debating if I should modify the scale pattern, or leave it regular. Maybe I'll do both in the end, since I'm designing this #lightsaber to allow me to swap parts

Okay, force killed Fusion a little while back, but this is why I mostly keep local backups anyway, I don't trust my internet. And since I'm building this similar to a Perfect Grade Gundam, of course it doesn't look like it needs anywhere near 300 MB...

Hey, neat, a request for a Zelos sword. I assume from Tales of Symphonia, in which case I made one like a decade ago for a good friend.. but that was from my CNC in foam and I think I can do better now, even though that was a really fun build. And a fun game since they wandered and I fought 😁

I.. think I broke this bluesky wrapped thingy..

And I have to love my family, they know exactly the kind of weird and random stuff I'd love to get...

(it's basically buffalo wing sauce, so the chicken motif fits in multiple ways, making it even more fun)

Still not sure why Fusion wants me to save my projects to my account just to do local renders.. so I'll just start saving everything I've been working on this year as the same temp and doing a render 👍 #KindomHearts keyblades are fun, and I tried out a new chain design for printing with this one

Time for Christmas molasses crisp cookies.. again. This is my third 24 dozen batch this year since *somehow* they keep disappearing, and I still laugh every time I see this picture that normally hangs on the fridge of me back in when I was 20 doing the same thing... ah, I was so young and pale...

WIP, testing out some prints and paints for my silly lightsaber build. Color isn't quite what I want yet, but I'm pretty happy with the quality level my Ender 3 can give for such tiny parts given I didn't sand them at all, or even remove them from the raft yet
December 23, 2024 at 10:44 AM
Much as I love finding this Render mode in Fusion.. now I feel like I'll never make my props up to the level of the render. And I already worried about that!

Still.. pretty...
December 22, 2024 at 6:46 PM
Now I'm just being silly.. well, on top of how this was just a silly fun project for myself anyway. But I'm also learning new stuff, which makes it even more fun 👍
December 22, 2024 at 3:47 PM
Just why you have to save the project to do the full renders, I'm not sure. My PC sounded like it wanted to try to fly given how hard it turned on the fans to produce the render in that style. Think I'll stick with the Export Image option for the most part

Between crashing Fusion using its time manipulation powers and several power outages, I lost a ton of work yesterday.

But, I finally learned about Fusion's Render mode, which I probably would've learned about years ago if I'd taken a simple class rather than learning by trial and error...

Never really tried modeling out the insides of anything in the past - so I figured I should try making a custom lightsaber with all sorts of guts inside for the fun of it.

Of course, I change my mind on the design every half hour or so, which is probably why I never did this before...

post a picture YOU took, just a pic, no description.

That's an odd one for me, since I'm terrible at games. I'd probably have a higher rate for props I've made from them

'Tis the season.. while I never could grow a beard, my father loves his. And has fun letting kids tug on it to see if it's real or not

Magicka. It's hard to get lost, and easy to do silly things

artists rt with your fav piece

This is still one of my favorites, so many years on. I learned so many techniques working on this, CNC and casting and airbrushing... really wish I'd made a spare to keep for myself. Might have to redo it knowing what I know now for an upgrade

Same here, had a bunch of watch parties with friends, and made so many props because I enjoyed it so much (small selection below)

Also loved the original. Had one of those toy versions that got recalled for possible lead in paint back in the day...

If you see this, repost an anime you love.

(I swear, if this shows up as a static image rather than a gif, it just goes to show that I'm an idiot, like Gourry, who doesn't know how to social media right..)

Drop your favorite Tales game.

Agreed, tough call between Symponia and Vesperia, since in both I got to do my swordsman thing while a friend did the wandering around that I'm terrible at. But I'll have to go Symphonia, it was my first

Black Butler? One of my favorite (and creepiest) commissions ever was from that..

But seriously, also a huge anime/manga fan in general. Hi!
