Ich habe gerade eine Grafik mit den Bundestagswahlergebnissen mit den 2025 Daten aktualisiert, für die deutsche Übersetzung meines Buches.
Und ich habe die BSW unter den "Sonstigen" gelistet.
Schaffe ich damit die Realität oder bilde ich sie nur ab? 🤔

This seems to be more of an issue in West Germany, though. The map shows the power and thermal power plants that still use coal, their size and at which phase out of 7 they will be decarbonized. The East has barely any and they are rather small.

Not to be too optimistic but in absolute terms PL is still runner up of the solid fossil fuel consumption in the EU (Eurostat data for 2024, in thousand tonnes).
Even if fast all coal burned in Poland is hard coal (less emissions) and in Germany it's brown coal, it still does not look that great yet

PL avoiding the bubonic plague in the 14th century.
It resulted in:
1) the raise of Jewish population in PL to be the largest in the world,
2) raise of economic dualism in Europe, with the decimated West moving into manufacturing, better wages & rights,& the East sticking to feudalism & agriculture.

Ein sehr guter Freund (und ehm. Kollege) von mir, Giovanni de Ghantuz Cubbe, hat gerade seine Doktorarbeit als Buch veröffentlicht.
Es geht um das Thema Territorialismus bei den Rechtsextremen, auf dem Beispiel von AfD (+Ostdeutschland) und Lega (+Norditalien).

Deeper in the pile I found a notebook from the ultimate destination of the trip. I had friends there, liked 🇷🇺, spoke decent Russian (which is rusty now & I don't feel like practising it).
Since they attacked Ukraine in 2014, I've been boycotting everything Russian. It makes me sadder than I thought.

While packing boxes, I found my old ticket to Moscow's State Historical Museum. I've been to Moscow, hoped on Transsiberian rail till Irkutsk & saw Baikal Sea in 2009.

Between 2020-2024 the number of ppl applying for recognition of PL citizenship (you can do so if at least one of your grandparents was a citizen) more than doubled. 2025 by midyear equally high. Mostly from Israel, Argentina, UK, and US. Sure, some just want an EU passport. But many want a way out.

I just learned that one of the singers of Electric Callboy has the same surname as one of my great grandmothers.
Incidentally I also now know which region of Poland his family most likely emigrated from.

This is the equivalent of the sad grey commie blocks, just with food.
(Honestly, I would only expect this type of food at a very cheap youth hostel only - but even then I'd expect some 🍅, 🥒, or cream cheese spreads. What she got is really sad. The only thing missing here is a blob of ketchup)
