A problem we have with this sentiment is that so many things are already an outrage. Outrage becomes the baseline. And the only way to now express outrage so it feels like outrage compared to the baseline brings us closer to crossing lines we have to think very carefully about.

They are just two people trying to make a path forward in this world like everyone else. They are both adults. They aren't burning puppies. They aren't turning off life support systems in the pediatric ward. And they aren't rolling old people in the street. Leave people alone.

We may find it a distasteful relationship, but getting into how they interact in whatever their personal partnership may be is across the line. Using hate for their relationship as an excuse for the vilification of a 24yo woman is just as disgusting as you may find their relationship.

The focus some sports "journalists" have put on this is ridiculous and distasteful. The borderline vilification of a 24yo young person because of her relationship to him is shameful. Have we learned no lessons about the intensity of the magnifying glass on people, especially young women?

This reminds me, I can't wait for the 145% tariffs on Halloween costumes this year! Instead of multiple costumes for your kids, it will be fine if they learn to get by just sharing one if it helps restore our Halloween costume industry that kids dream of working in for a lifetime of labor to come!
