In another paper with @mikhailshapiro.bsky.social, we use gas vesicles to estimate very high-frequency ultrasound pressure (>80MHz), which we could not do before. We find the voltage input to the transducer at which they collapse GVs, creating "black holes." More👇

With Dr. Agata Exner, we examine the effect of bubble-bubble interactions when decreasing their spacing and how that changes the system's resonant frequency. We observe an increase in the system's resonant frequency with decreasing MB distance. More at👇
