Not sure what hurts more right now: my body or my pride. Had a total wipe out this morning. Like an epic one. Thankfully no one else was in the building at the time. Can’t wait to see what colours I turn.

Bright side of my new 4x daily antibiotics— they require a full 8oz of water when taken. I am going to be SO hydrated for the next week!

Cool cool cool. So not only do I have a nasty sinus something going on, I have a cracked filling that has set off major inflammation and pain in my mouth, disrupting sleep.

Today our day care provider surprised us with the notice that she is raising her daily fee, effective Jan 2.
I don’t begrudge it, but a little more notice would have been nice.

Ate way too much pasta at our friends’ NYE gathering, but I have no regrets. Our kids playing together, enjoying excellent food and even better company. Yep, not a single complaint. Hoping 2024 can include more of moments like this!

Husband dear’s work life is absolutely bananas (external factors complicating an already stressful report) and it so hard to watch him having a shit time. He just cannot catch a break.

That strange balance of being thrilled that Tiny Human is starting to doing independent play well and the strange awareness that there are only so many years they will want to me to play with them. Parenting is a weird and wonderful trip.

Thought I had lost one of my favourite earrings today. Was unreasonably upset about this. But a tiny miracle occurred- when I came home, there it was sitting on the bathroom floor! Felt like I won the lottery!

My 3.5 year old just discovered that the window I opened early in the day has no screen on it. Due to a weird fluke, it used to have not one but two screens. Where did they go?!?
