Yeah.. basically the whole combat system is very gamey. It is somewhat fun and the oppressiveness of danger is essential for the mood. But other than that I could’ve done without fighting I think

Fully agree! Definitely the best video game publication I know and personally I think it’s maybe the highest quality publication I’ve ever seen. 🖤 got all 5 issues with number 6 already backed on Kickstarter.

For sci-fi I can recommend Ann Leckie‘s Imperial Radch trilogy. Gender (or rather gender neutrality) plays a role and it’s a fascinating and unique idea. I flew through all three. And for horror I just finished Something in the Walls by Daisy Pearce and it really made my hair stand!

It’s screening in a month here in Vienna too and I got tickets. Did it rock? :)
