Yeah, he's a pretend hillbilly.

I spent all day yesterday feeling embarrassed and humiliated. What a spineless bunch of empty suits we have running this country.

Well I had chicken pox, mumps and measles as a kid and I can testify as to how contagious they are. This was late 1950s and it was just assumed that most kids would get all of them.

I spend too much time on Facebook. It is almost automatic and thoughtless to click on it.. So, I simply removed the icon from the front page of my phone along with Messenger. When I open up my phone and see the blank spaces where those icons normally are, it reminds me not to go looking for them.

I am really fortunate to have locally owned stores and restaurants within two or three blocks of my house. Actually, most weeks, I never get the car out at all. I must admit I had to plan in order to avoid Facebook in particular.

OMFG

I went so far as to take Facebook Messenger and Amazon off the front page of my phone. That way I can't accidentally click on them. I'll spend a little time on Blue Sky tomorrow trying to get used to it.

The daffodils we get here are probably hybridized to the point that they've lost all their scent.

I'm still not in the habit of posting here. It's cold but not very cold and we haven't had much snow so far this season. About half of what New Orleans has had.

Hard fought but a sad result.
