My wife with 35 seconds to play in the half: “I’m going to the bedroom.”
Me: “Right before they’re finally going to score?”
Me, 15 seconds later: “OK, you can go to bed.”

In our neighborhood, a lot of the lots are partially wooded. Our neighbor two doors down hired the goat herd to clear out poison ivy and other weeds from their back yard earlier this year.

We live about a mile away from Easter Lake. They only finished the path fully around the lake about 7 years ago or so. Really nice place to go for a walk or a ride.

The Magicians trilogy by Lev Grossman. I haven’t read Scholomance, but from the description sounds like a similar premise. Also, the Hyperion Cantos (4 books) by Dan Simmons.

The rules say that if you have more than 18 players, you should play with a second deck. 😄 We just played with 5, and it was great. One player ended with zero points, and he wasn’t even pushing his luck that hard.

She also has incredibly soft fur. I hope that’s not just a kitten thing she grows out of.

My daughter had been wanting a kitten for a while, so we adopted Willow a couple of months ago. She’s a muted calico and is honestly one of the most beautiful cats I’ve ever seen.
