Interesting they are threatening to sue the government for this ban. Why do they want our children watching their content so badly- is it just a monetary consideration or something broader?

CEOs that slash the workforce and replace it with AI that later regret it, should be shown the door. They obviously don’t know what their customers want and need and don’t know what their employees deliver! AI can be useful to increase productivity if that’s the goal, rather than just $$$.

Don’t understand why more research is needed when there are numerous countries around the world who have had school hot lunches for decades. Why does Australia drag its feet on everything? ISO fix child seats had been available in Europe for over 10 years before Australia approved them!

How can they not see the clear and distinct correlation between their policy and the increase in crime related to tobacco? So they’ll spend millions more in tax payer money in fighting a problem they’ve created!

Prohibition doesn’t work either, that’s how black markets also flourish- look at the result of the US prohibiting alcohol, it was the catalyst for the mafia to make a lot of money, which they then used to buy casinos and entered the drug trade. Education is the key, but it takes time unfortunately.

How about instead of spending billions of dollars on roads we really don’t need, invest in youth programs to prevent them from committing crimes in the first place?

From what I have seen, Europe have charged people more on registration the larger the engine of the car for decades. Germany have restrictions on cars entering the centre of the city, based on their emissions. Japan have restrictions on the age of the car for emission reasons. Why can’t we?

For how long will Australia have this privilege? Australia’s top selling car in 2024 produces 190 to 315g/km of CO2 emissions. Do we really need to wait until the air becomes toxic before we make a change?

Putin must have some juicy kompromat on Trump.

Zelenskyy will go down in history as a hero who stayed and fought for his country. He was given the option to flee but stayed. I wonder if trump would have done the same if he was in that situation!
