I like working with a book - but that takes time. Set up the board and then taking at least one hour learning with it.

Pros Chessable:
- spaced repetition (dont really repeat stuff with the book)
- no setting up the pieces over and over again
- highlighted ideas with arrowes and marked fields

I‘m always fascinated when being confronted with pictures like this.
Just can‘t imagine that nobody of the film crew noticed that the board isn‘t set up in the right way.

Eliminate the protected passed pawn followed by a fork on g5 looks nice to me.

Lichess.
I haven‘t used my chess com account in years.
Its just that lichess is free and Open Source - I like that spirit! And the study tool is awesome.

There is a small exhibition in honor of the Andreas Dückstein who passed away in august last year. During his career he played against 7 world champions and won against 3 of them!

After some years of inactiveness (besides online blitz) now those resolutions:

to play more tournaments (OTB)
to play less blitz games online
to play more classical games
to learn how to analyse my games properly
study online AND books
to play at least one classical game a week + analyse it

I would be in too!

Would you recommend going through master games for intermediate players aswell? Im always afraid that the level would be too high for me and that I wouldn‘t understand the ideas behind certain moves anyway.

I have similar goals for the next year. Good luck with your approach!
