In Europe, the American South is basically seen the way American companies view Mexico. It's a cheap place where you don't have to pay for the safety of workers. Why NOT move your car plant there? Have non-union workers who make low salaries in Alabama build your expensive cars.

I think 50 percent of African American history shouldn't be defined by entertainers and athletes. I know Trump isn't going to honor Malcolm X, but maybe WEB DuBois and GW Carver? I mean, we've had an African American president.
