Maybe you’ve covered it already Bill but can you summarise your stance on the argument that our system favours 1:1 specialist wingers and so the talents of someone like Rodrygo may not be optimised? Is that fair? Accurate?

We’ve always been somewhat tight lipped but seeing this gamble leave egg on their faces is really something. I’m not looking for a ‘Yeah, we were wrong. You were right’ but an honest explanation as to their thinking and med/long term goals is important
