As much as I dislike Newsome, at least he's willing to fight fire with fire in this whole gerrymandering thing. Yes, Gerrymandering is terrible. How about we get an independant council to redraw districts? No, well if you want to break the rules in that way, lets do the same.

That fucking NEVER stops republicans. When Obama had a super majority, he let the repubs steam roll his policies. They'll pressure dems to play by the rule book, then when they get power they say "screw the rules, they're inconvenient.

Regular people are struggling, and those struggles might end with crazy shit like losing homes, or facing illegal deportations...then there's the dem establishment who are more worried about big money donors than doing amything to help thise who actually voted them into office.
