I love how he communicates clearly but I don’t think we’re winning with him. I don’t believe in the football any longer.

It’s not all on him - Levy is the common thread behind every manager’s failures - but I just don’t see it working. The errors continue, the good stuff too inconsistent.

So you agree we were/are inconsistent, like all the rest not named Liverpool, Arsenal (and maybe Forest)?

2/ Looking beyond stats and just looking at each match where we dropped points, I can’t see how those 7 matches don’t show you inconsistency. We couldn’t create anything against Ipswich; we blew a safe lead against Brighton; we didn’t even shoot against Arsenal…

I don’t get your POV at all on this

Week 13 match was December 1st.

To that point we’d:

-drawn 1-1 at LEI
-lost 2-1 at NEW
-lost 1-0 vs ARS
-lost 3-2 at BHA
-lost 1-0 at CPY
-lost 2-1 vs IPS
-drawn 1-1 vs FUL

That’s 20 pts out of possible 39; not bad. But the results above do show tremendous inconsistency as I’m suggesting.

I’m genuinely not convinced that’s true. We’ve seen plenty of matches where we were fully fit and NOT firing. It’s the firing part that has been maddeningly inconsistent for the last two seasons.

10 points is massive, to be fair.
March 14, 2025 at 7:26 PM
And yet I’m so ready for him to be gone. His effort is so spotty and his defending so error-prone.

I feel bad saying it but I’ve turned on him.
March 13, 2025 at 8:36 PM
Where was he at this point in his first term? Despite being even more hostile and transparently authoritarian this time around, I get the feeling that he’s somehow more popular in 2025 than he was in 2017…

I’m not suggesting a proxy war. I’m suggesting, as Politico Europe reported, that Trump and Putin are actively working with Zelensky opposition to get him out. Once he’s out then war ends.

The irony is that we didn’t lose his way either. We lost on an OG and because of our toothless attack. We didn’t play brave, we didn’t play fast, etc. We lost the way Conte would’ve wanted us to lose…
March 6, 2025 at 8:55 PM
Mostly agree. I think they might’ve scored another but overall I get your point.

And if we weren’t one of the worst sides in Europe right now, we should’ve smashed them. They’re resilient but didn’t see anything there that a good team couldn’t handle. We’re just not a good team.
March 6, 2025 at 8:53 PM
Didn’t look good though, and still lost.

Looked awful, to be honest.
March 6, 2025 at 8:51 PM
Paid well… we pay our players well, up to a point. The reason we don’t have any real players is because we don’t pay well enough.

Agree with your overall point, however. Whether it’s Poch, Mou, Conte…it’s always the same. Weak-minded, timid players bought by same bald bastard that doesn’t care.

Honestly we’ve heard this speech from Son a dozen times already. It’s trite. It’s cliche. Shut your yap and just do it already.
March 6, 2025 at 8:43 PM
Bissouma is abysmal. Just utterly useless in 90% of the matches he plays in. Lazy, inattentive. I am baffled that you rate him this highly.
March 6, 2025 at 8:38 PM
That hypothetical step up isn’t coming since we’ll never buy the players that can achieve those levels.

For now, Ange needs to figure out why his attack is so broken/inconsistent. IMO, midfield is the prob. Too much of the same there, too few of the quality of a Madders/Kulu. Biss/Bent aren’t it.
March 6, 2025 at 8:10 PM
Foolishness. Trump and Putin will topple Ukrainian govt. and the replacement will sign whatever they’re told to sign. It’s just a matter of time before that happens.

Danso is a real CB.

Oddobert/Tel are shockingly poor and Brennan offers nothing outside of the tap-ins. Our attack is broken, especially when Madders/Kulu are off the pitch. Son is useless most days now.
