Thank you to Tam and Henry from Grays Stone Carving for offering me a space in their studio as part of this year's Wylye Valley Art trail. I'll be exhibiting alongside 15 other incredible artists. Pop along to Venue 36. Saturday 3rd May until Sunday 11th May.

Empire State Building, February 1998. The viewing platform was closed due the severe cold winds and ice. That early evening light, though...

I'm hoping to start work on a project I've been planning for some time later in the spring. Here's the first photograph from the provisionally titled "Procession". A mix of history, geography and sociology. There’ll be more info on this project later in the year as I get stuck in!

Bought some film, so as soon as I find my Ondu pinhole camera (still buried in a box following last year's move), I'll be heading out for some more panoramic experimentation!

Surely, we must be creeping closer to the Glastonbury 2003 set! David Gray had the sunset slot before REM took to the stage on the Friday night. My wife and I were at the festival for their 1999 headliner, too. The Flaming Lips and Radiohead were incredible on the Saturday night.

Love a good bookshelf. If this year hadn't been such a mess with unexpectedly having to move etc, I'd be adding some plenty more to the shelves. Maybe in the new year I'll treat myself!

Day trip to Lacock for an A Level photography student's research. Taking in the cloisters, a Tudor door, and the light through THAT window

Walking along the south bank I couldn't help but notice the prominence of St Paul's, so thought I'd capture views of it in different ways, ending in the cheesy shot at the end of the millennium bridge at night. Same 50mm lens on my beaten up old Nikon D750

Trip to London last week. 1st image is a quick, handheld panorama with a 50mm lens. Wish I was a little taller so I could get some separation between the pier in the foreground and the horizon. Nevermind, still love the busyness of it all.
