9 YEARS OF SHADOWS

This game is so clunky, I feel like I got bamboozled into enjoying it but in the end I think it's one of my favourite games I played last year. It's so awkward, some of the bosses blow, navigating is confusing, but it's so goodddd plus Europa is so fucking cool. Look at her.

Sly 3 is a childhood favourite of mine, and still one of my favourite games of all time. It closes the original trilogy in a wonderful and colourful display, and the humour and witticism present in its writing are some of Sucker Punch's best. The added variety in gameplay makes it a joy to play.

UNSIGHTED is one of my favourite games of all time. It's about loss and the havoc mankind reaps upon the Earth, but it's also about survival, finding joy in dire circumstances, and most importantly, lesbian robots. It's also a fucking killer Zelda-like/metroidvania. Please play it.
