Hey, uh, John Roberts... is there a decision you might want to revisit?

So, uhhhhh... anything happen on social media today?

These are officially the "Succession" Oscars now.

Usually, diplomats want to stay relatively inconspicuous on the roads of the countries where they are stationed.

Don't really know how $400 million worth of cyber trucks fits in there.

So now Trump is the stupidest Dick Cheney AND the stupidest Neville Chamberlain? The guy really has range.

JD Vance should be disbarred.

That one guy (you know the one): We'll make a Riviera!

All MAGA: uhhhhh, is that going to be an easy trip? Like it is to Myrtle Beach?
February 6, 2025 at 1:12 PM
If we didn't already have Dick Cheney in this timeline, I would say that the current President is the stupidest version of him.
February 5, 2025 at 8:29 PM
For all the places Trump plans to acquire around the world, we sure are going to need a much LARGER federal government to manage that. A bunch of tech bros who can't legally drink aren't going to run Greenland, let alone Gaza.

Call me crazy, but I think it's good to have MORE air traffic control, not less.
February 1, 2025 at 2:09 AM
Is Trump going to keep people from getting their tax refunds?

Many people are saying...

(I actually did have a client say that yesterday.)
January 31, 2025 at 12:25 PM
Reagan ruined air traffic control in this country, and now people have died at the airport heretically named for him.

This, and Trump, is what Reagan's legacy truly is.

Not everybody can (and maybe that's you), but EVERYBODY knows people who can, and want to, and the only way we're turning this around is by getting the word out to as many people as possible. I think we already know that the political parties as currently constituted won't do it.
January 24, 2025 at 5:35 PM
If you're not a fan of Trump - and want to make sure we don't elect people like him again (and maybe even stop what he started!) - the way to do that is get your friends involved to take structural power - taking positions in your local political parties, and getting people elected at every level.

I gotta say, a whole lot more areas of ConLaw became relevant over the last seventeen years than we EVER thought would in 2006.

That moment when you get home from work, start eating your paella, and find out you're part of the BRICS nations all of a sudden.

1981 : Iran hostages :: 2025: TikTok

Somehow, the stakes don't exactly seem equivalent, even though the disingenuousness is.
January 19, 2025 at 8:32 PM
In this new era, can we move on from live-action Disney remakes, please? and use our entertainment resources for the obvious best use...

Live-action Homestarrunner remakes.
January 19, 2025 at 5:25 PM
Sooooo, TikTok was shut down because sensitive info was being collected by a foreign country (which, OK), but it can be restarted by selling it to... a South African, maybe? Some other rando? 'Cause THAT seems like something the Supreme Court thought through.

Quoting an old family friend who was organizing before I was born - so he knows what he's talking about: "All the venting in the world on Facebook [or any platform] will not change a thing in DC. Only long term organizing that is focused and deliberate will change culture."
January 19, 2025 at 3:15 PM
Sorry, boys and girls, in Trump's America, you don't get TikTok. Or maybe it will just get renamed Z, and then start to suck.
