Seriously awesome performance by Angela Bassett.

Isn't that the thing about really great people-they manage to touch lives so far afield & across an ocean of experiences, & so many people feel it intensely when they're gone. I didn't even know that Tracy was Penny's daughter & his by choice. It's good there's so much love in the midst of sorrow.

Because a successful black Democrat President made the first real inroads to rendering healthcare accessible to everyone. Rampant racism tends to overpower common sense in weak minds.

Can't hit what's not there. Although if anyone could, it'd be Harry.

False premise.

A brilliant screen adaptation of a brilliant play. Scofield's defining role (remarkable given his illustrious career). Great performance by a young John Hurt. Always in my top ten.

As well as the smart ass who drafted Section 9 of the US Constitution... along with all the smart asses who voted to ratify. And everyone who, for over two centuries, fought to defend it. That's who.

You can't not like a team that plays with that level of heart and grit against that massive payroll. Both teams earned serious respect, but the Jay's won the hearts and minds.

I don't know... that Frisbee looks pretty intimidating.

Nice observation. However, I assumed they would anyway.

If the Rapture involves hanging out with Debbie and the band, Feb 5 Freddie and Basquiat, sign me up.

Let us not forget Ace Rothstein.

Such a great day. My daughter was in her element.

Such an amazing show... too far ahead of its time. We can, however, see where it was going in our everyday lives today.

There with my daughter all day. Awesome event.

Some of Spike's best work, which is really saying something. Can't beat that cast. Typically great Delroy.

A tremendous loss for all of us. Ordinary People was brilliant and devastating. A River Runs Through It was visually beautiful and moving in every way. We can do this all day. Just a sad loss and an amazing legacy.

A fitting tribute to a national treasure. McMurtry was not only a brilliant writer but an amazing source of inspiration for other brilliant artists in letters and music.

Yup. And it's really hard to watch.

Best restroom sign ever.

Very important point. The Party is skipping to the award ceremony before the game is over (again). Nov. may well be a 4-way demolition derby in which any of the 4 can win. Cuomo didn't prematurely concede out of the goodness of his heart. He sees the angle. The Party needs to focus on the end game.

Easily one of the most important books ever written. It should be required reading in high schools and colleges. Sagan was brilliant, clear-minded, and continues to be a vital counterforce to the prevailing lies and misconceptions of today's world.

Good point, but we'll have to hope that the basic decency in Brad's actions & those of people like him will highlight the difference between the defiant actions of good people & the nefarious actions of the Project 2025 adherents. They need no excuses for illegal acts... This is what they are.
