Did some digging around last night, thinking about my own high school experience and how theatre kinda saved me and allowed me to focus on what I wanted to do in my career.
That’s me at 16, in my last play and that’s my 15.5 year old daughter, having just slayed two nights at our own production. ⭕️

Gah!! I loved this book! Blew through it in 3 days! For all you 90s loving, music loving peeps: this one is for you. It’s a gem and so compelling.
(Kinda wish that Jane and Elijah, the book’s main characters, were real people, so that’s saying something!)

This was a really amazing book to read, and allowed me to define parts of my own sensitivity that I hadn’t been able to before. I particularly was fascinated by the parts around the science around sensitivity and how genetics play into it.

He for sure hasn’t seen this much snow in his life!

Went to see the Tina Turner musical today - travelling tour that came to Place Des Arts for the last couple of days. While the sound seemed a little low, the performances are great and of course the music is awesome. Tina is a legend, end of story.

My reading journey continued in 2024. Though I fell a bit short of my amount from last year, I still managed to get many books in.
These 10 were gems and I highly recommend them all. ❤️

Just came from seeing Wicked. It’s an epic film. I will start the petition for Cynthia to get a Best Actress Oscar nomination.
Also I think it officially makes me a nerd that I noticed the Wicked font in the same was the same as Wizard of Oz!
