So many godwits in flight over Middlemere, RSPB Arne today. We thought they were spooked by a marsh harrier, but apparently, it was a peregrine.

Juvenile white-tailed eagle seen from Coombe Heath this morning. Seemed to be over Swineham/Hyde's Heath area.

What a proliferation of avocets seen in the Middlebere channel at RSPB Arne! They were both beautiful and fascinating to watch! There were several groups feeding like this.

Finally, after many trips to Poole Harbour over several months, we found an eagle soaring on thermals high above RSPB Arne on Saturday! Video not great due to distance and briefness of encounter but it was lovely to see! Not sure if it was adult or juvenile.
