I think a lot of elected officials will do whatever they can get away with. That's where the media is supposed to come in. Their responsibility has been to inform.... They have failed....

Thing is, even if the Republicans in the Senate agreed, the House would have to vote on it which means they'd have to come back from recess... Anyone actually think that is gonna happen??

The "reason" he won in '24 was because of the media. Their absolute failure to provide accurate and honest reporting was sickening. More are seeing through their lies... I just hope it's not too late... Yesterday's elections gives me some hope but we have a long way to go!

I think the #1 issue was the media. Most people are, at best, barely paying attention to politics. They get their information from what other people post and, occasionally, watching the 5 clock news. Since the MSM has completely failed, they have/had no idea what was actually going on...

I would argue that voter complacency is, in large part, due to the complete failure of the MSM, right-left-and center. Many feel apathy because they have no idea how bad it is. Remember, "Democracy dies in darkness".

Trust me, we here in the US want to know too!!!

What u see is only a small fraction of the homeless population. Most homelessness is caused by the inability to afford housing driven by high cost and low wages. There are the fringes that have mental health or addiction problems but they are the minority.
