#booksky Help! I need a recommendation for a book to read for a library book discussion group. Wide age range of readers, like from 30 to 80!

Thinking about spring and getting back to gardening and adding the next batch of chicks...maybe even bees. Having some food self-sufficiency seems more important than ever.

Reading some copies and a book that I think is Kristin Hannah's best. #booksky

Putting my apocalypse, martial law, climate disaster, potentially screwed up pandemic response supply order together. Two days into Trump 2.0 and not sure what to do first.

Finally captured this escape artist living in my front porch. Actually my teenage son/cat whisperer did. No microchip, so she's with us now. Meet Rolo.

Opposed to guns but had to re-evaluate the safety of my home for personal reasons. I will get PROPERLY trained. This may not be a bad idea considering how the institutions around us are being threatened. I am so sad for my children and grandchildren growing up in this angry, divided country.

Gardening goals for the spring and some seeds to save in case stuff hits the fan. 😅

I see people posting bookshelves. My grandkids' books are taking over mine. Reading "I Never Promised You a Rose Garden" and "The Dovekeepers." Also reading a lot about homesteading. Being more self-sufficient seems important right now.

This cat now lives on my front porch but won't allow me to put her in a carrier to have her scanned for a chip or to be checked over. Any suggestions for non-traumatic capture? My family has grown attached and so have my 2 indoor cats.
